Why should I attend?
A vital part of the drug retail channel includes regional chains, independent stores and regional drug wholesalers and there is no other organization quite like CDMA that brings them all together. CDMA works tirelessly to create opportunities for suppliers across product categories to meet with this often hard-to-reach half of the channel. If you are looking to reach regional retailers, regional wholesalers and independent pharmacies, then this is the show for you. Regional chains, regional wholesalers and independent pharmacies still make up 40% of the drug store industry. Our members are an important part of the industry and should be an important part of your business.

What is the format of the show?
The format of the show is a traditional open floor show. A 10x10 booth, all inclusive, will be ready for move-in (see below for complete breakdown). The show is limited to 120 booths to allow time for the buyers to visit all booths (Buyers are also enticed with prizes to encourage visiting all the booths). CDMA staff members will be available to help guide buyers through the trade floor and answer any questions.

What is included in my booth fee?
Your booth fees are all inclusive, except for special orders, including:

  • 10 x 10 booth
  • Two 6' Skirted Tables
  • Four Chairs
  • Carpet
  • Wastebasket
  • ID sign
  • Free pre-show mailing to all registered buyers
  • Two free attendees
  • Networking Lunch during Trade Show
  • 85th Anniversary Celebration

Is there any pre-show publicity?
As an exhibitor you will have the opportunity to participate in the CDMA pre-show mailing. This mailing is sent to all of the buyers attending the show and can include samples, sell sheets, catalogs and details of your show specials. Your company will also be included in all communications promoting the show to the buyers prior to the show. CDMA HQ must receive your mailing materials by January 6.

Do I have to be a member to participate?
No, you can exhibit as a non-member, but only members can exhibit at the discounted booth price, and only members can take advantage of our centralized billing services and other special membership benefits. Are there sponsorships available?

Is this a buying or networking show?
Both! CDMA strongly suggests featuring at least one Hot Buy at the show. Hot Buys will be chosen and highlighted at a buyer only breakfast. These will entice buyers to visit your booth.

As an association, this is the prime opportunity of the year for all of CDMA's members to come together to network. This is our way of supporting the industry and making it stronger. Your participation can help us achieve this goal.

When is Exhibitor set up?

  • 1/26/2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • 1/28/2011 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

When is Exhibitor tear down?
1/28/2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

What is the Product Showcase?
The Product Showcase is a great way to introduce or promote a new or unique product!

  • The showcase is placed in a high-visibility section of the trade floor. Buyers can't miss it!
  • The Product Showcase Directory includes a description and photo of your product.
  • Each item in the showcase is $200 for members and $300 for non-members (Platinum Members receive two free items in the Product Showcase!).
