Why Should I Attend?
If you are looking to reach regional retailers, regional wholesalers and independent pharmacies, then this is the show for you. Regional chains, regional wholesalers and independent pharmacies still make up 48% of the drug store industry. Our members are an important part of the industry and should be an important part of your business.
What is the format of the show?
The format of the show is a combination of a traditional open floor show and a flexible appointment based show. You will set up a 10 x 10 booth space to display your products and the buyers will meet with you in your booth. The buyers are then placed into groups ranging from 8 -12 buyers per group. Each group is assigned a CDMA group leader. The CDMA group leader assists the buyers in keeping their aisle appointments and answering questions from suppliers and buyers.
How do the appointment schedules work?
The buyers are assigned a specific aisle of suppliers for a block of time. During that time they are free to meet with the suppliers. The flexibility of this type of schedule allows the supplier and buyer to determine how much time they need together for product presentation and order writing. It is up to the suppliers and buyers to manage their time to ensure they are able to meet with everyone during their block of time. After the block of time has expired the buyers move to another group of suppliers and the process starts anew. The flexibility of the schedule allows you to: maximize time & increase productivity.
What if I need more time with a buyer?
CDMA has built in open time in the morning and afternoon of each day to allow suppliers and buyers to meet again if necessary.

What is included in my booth fee?
Your booth fee includes a 10 x 10 booth, 2 - 6' skirted tables, 4 chairs, carpeting, wastebasket, ID sign, and 2 free company registrations. The fee includes lunch on Wednesday and Thursday. It also includes the Cocktail Reception on Wednesday. Platinum members are also invited to join the buyers for the CDMA Appreciation evening on Tuesday evening.
Is there any pre-show publicity?
As an exhibitor you will have the opportunity to participate in the CDMA pre-show mailing. This mailing is sent to all of the buyers attending the show, and can include samples, sell sheets, catalogs and details of your show specials. You will also be included in any materials intended to promote the show to the buyers. CDMA must receive your mailing materials by: February 15, 2008.
Do I have to be a member to participate?
No, you can exhibit as a non-member. But only members can exhibit at the discounted booth price, and only members get to take advantage of our centralized billing services. For more information on joining the association, click on Joining CDMA.

What networking opportunities are available?
In addition to the flexible appointments, there are many networking opportunities available. Each day the show floor closes for lunch to allow for maximum networking with buyers and fellow suppliers. There is open time during the day to meet with buyers to finish up discussions from previous appointments. The Chairman's Cocktail Reception is open to all attendees. There is also a special CDMA Appreciation Evening for all buyers, committee members and Platinum members.
Is this a buying or networking show?
Both! CDMA strongly suggests presenting a show special at the show, but ultimately this is a networking show. As an association, this is the prime opportunity throughout the year for all of CDMA's members to come together. This is our way of supporting the industry and making it stronger. Your participation can help us achieve this goal.

Exhibitor set-up is Tuesday, March 11, 2008 from 9:00am-5:00pm. All booths must be set up in completion by 5:00pm, Tuesday, March 11, 2008.
